Watch Review: High Quality Swiss Fake Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M 39.5MM ‘Summer Blue’ Watches UK

In mid-2023, Swiss Omega announced a special set of 11 watches produced in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Omega “Seamaster” collection. That number of “special edition” Omega replica watches for sale (not limited, per se, but produced only for a certain amount of time) is a testament to how large the current “Seamaster” collection is. The Planet Ocean collection is designed as a tool-focused daily-wear diver’s-style watch that nicely straddles the world of wristwatch utility with that of fashionable style. One of the newer members of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean family is this smaller-sized model for men. Omega also produced an even smaller 37.5mm wide Seamaster Planet Ocean with mainly women wearers in mind. That said, most legacy cheap UK fake Omega Planet Ocean watches are in 44mm-wide range.

Many people don’t know that when Omega originally released the Seamaster name, it was not attached to a serious tool or diver’s watch. My understanding is that, in 1948, Omega wanted to offer a “weekend watch” that would provide a wearer luxury and style but also be able to handle getting wet and playing with the kids. Thus, the Seamaster was really a lifestyle watch from the start, and it only later merged with the serious diving tool watches that Omega would later become well-known for. Why the Planet Ocean needs to be the “Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean” versus just “Omega Planet Ocean” is a topic for another debate, but it is interesting for me to observe how brand product family names evolve over time.

Omega has intentionally changed little about the Seamaster Planet Ocean over the last decade or two. The top replica Omega watches continue to have similar case shapes and dials which are inspired by vintage Omega diving timepieces. This includes the hour markers, placement of the few Arabic hour numeral markers, and the “broad arrow” style hands. What Omega has done over the years is improve the construction quality of its Planet Ocean watches while continuing to use ever-upgraded in-house automatic movements. Of course, Omega has also experimented with a large assortment of colors and sizes for its Seamaster Planet Ocean models.

Those with smaller wrists are going to be very happy that Omega decided to make a “full performance” mid-size version of the Planet Ocean. By that, I mean this under-40mm-wide version of the Planet Ocean still has 600 meters of water resistance and a modern in-house Omega automatic movement. Personally, I very much prefer the larger 43-44mm wide (or larger) versions of the Planet Ocean that Omega produces. I recently wore the 6,000-meter water-resistant Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean Ultra Deep and was delighted by its larger proportions. For me, the 39.5mm Planet Ocean has somewhat strange proportions given that it tries to pack a larger watch in a smaller package. A lot of wearers prefer the look of the Planet Ocean dial to that of, say, an Omega Aqua Terra (which is just “Planet Ocean” in Latin) or an Omega Seamaster 300M. For that reason, Omega apparently feels compelled to make as many of its watches as possible in as many sizes as possible. That makes sense from a commercial perspective, but I do think consumers who are interested in an Omega Seamaster but aren’t sure where to land have some confusing choices to sort through. The “Summer Blue” color effect on this Seamaster 75th anniversary version of the 39.5mm wide Planet Ocean is pretty. The watch itself remains one of the most durable smaller-sized diver’s watches around. Omega was careful not to strip out anything of importance in the smaller-sized case for the Planet Ocean. That means the case maintains its 600 meters of water resistance and its manual helium release valve. This latter feature is both antiquated and vestigial for most watch-wearing purposes. Omega maintains this feature because the extra crown at the 10 o’clock position for the valve has become a distinctive visual feature of all Omega fake watches for men in the Planet Ocean collection. Maintaining recognizable “profiles” is a key effort needed today by any luxury watch brand such as Omega.

Size-wise, this version of the Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m is 39.5mm wide, 14.2m thick, and has a 45.6mm lug-to-lug distance. Aside from the thickness (which can’t be helped and is part of the overall personality of this piece), that is a pretty small footprint on the wrist for a serious diver’s watch. Over the dial is an AR-coated domed sapphire crystal, and over the back of the luxury Omega super clone watches is a special engraved caseback (with Greek mythology’s Poseidon on his seahorse chariot) instead of an exhibition window to view the movement. Note that standard versions of the Seamaster Planet Ocean 39.5mm 600M have a sapphire crystal exhibition caseback.

The watch case and bracelet weigh a hefty 194 grams, which makes for a very solid-feeling watch. The bracelet is attractive and very comfortable but basic in its overall three-link design. Omega places its handy micro-adjust system inside the fold-over push-button deployant clasp. Using this micro-adjust feature allows you to expand or contract the bracelet size by several millimeters, all the while not changing the look of the 2024 online Omega replica watches. I say this because certain micro-adjust systems wear awkwardly (due to space in the deployant clasp) if the bracelet is in an “expanded” position.

Inside the perfect fake Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 39.5mm Summer Blue watches is Omega’s in-house, METAS-certified Caliber 8800 automatic “Co-Axial Master Chronometer.” Anti-magnetic and highly accurate, the caliber 8800 movement operates at 3.5Hz with 55 hours of power reserve. The movement uses a silicon regulation system and is nicely decorated (in case you ever have a chance to open up the caseback and look at it). The automatic movement provides the time along with the date.

Where Omega should take the Seamaster Planet Ocean from here is a difficult question to answer. Omega must keep the Planet Ocean fresh while keeping it the same. That is a tall order, and luxury watchmakers like Omega have responded by using the opportunity to experiment with colors, sizes, and materials. For a lot of people, this just over 39mm-wide size for the Planet Ocean is exactly what they have been looking for. I am happy that Swiss made Omega replica watches makes this size, but I (with my smaller 6.75-inch wrist) still prefer the larger Planet Ocean models. The “Summer Blue” color theme is particularly pretty, but most versions of the 39.5mm Seamaster Planet Ocean will wear similarly. For an even more compact wearing experience, consider the watch on one of Omega’s excellent matching rubber straps. Two Years Later — How Good Is The Current UK Luxury Replica Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches?

In early 2021, Omega introduced the current Speedmaster Professional model in stainless steel. Although I was able to resist my urge to buy one at first, I pulled the trigger in August 2021 and added a fresh, new perfect replica Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches 310.30.42.50.01.001 — the standard version with a stainless steel bracelet and Hesalite (acrylic) crystal — to my collection.

In this article, I will share my thoughts on the current Moonwatch and whether I am still as enthusiastic as I was two years ago during the introduction. You might want to read this article if you are looking for a side-by-side comparison between the previous best UK fake Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches and the current one, but I will explain several of the differences here. I will also get into the price hikes since its introduction, which is a hot topic sometimes. I’ve also encountered a few flaws, which I will address as well.

Slightly different dials

I purchased my Speedmaster Pro 310.30.42.50.01.001 in August 2021 after briefly debating whether I’d prefer the sapphire or the Hesalite version. The sapphire model has a slightly different bracelet, with the small links surrounding the center link having a polished finish. It also features a sapphire case back and an applied Omega logo instead of a printed on one the dial. In addition, the sapphire version’s dial is a little bit darker and has clearer snailed finishing on the sub-dials. However, please note that this is not always the case! Omega had several different suppliers at some point to keep up with the demand, and you will also find dials in the sapphire version that is closer to the finishing of the Hesalite models. Perhaps needless to say, both these cheap Omega replica watches use the same 3861 movement.

Sapphire versus Hesalite — a €1,100 difference

Anyway, I went for the Hesalite version (I explained here why I did so). It’s just personal preference, and if I hadn’t owned the yellow (Moonshine) gold Speedmaster Pro with caliber 3861 and a display back, I might have gone for the sapphire version. From what I know and have heard, this is the first Moonwatch iteration of which the sapphire version sells in higher numbers than the Hesalite model. The Moonwatch with sapphire crystal, reference 310.30.42.50.01.002, costs €1,100 more than the Hesalite version, which has a retail price of €7,500.

Scuffs and marks

I try to rotate my top Omega copy watches, but the Speedmaster Professional 310.30.42.50.01.001 is always around. Basically, since the moment I bought it, it has not seen a safe from the inside. It was with me during my summer holidays, I’ve worn it during golf games, and it has accompanied me while traveling. It also shows, despite being careful with my stuff. The watch has indeed received some scuffs and marks. That said, it still looks pretty good, including the Hesalite crystal.

Polywatch or replace

You can be sure that an acrylic crystal will get scratched. Especially under a loupe or macro lens, you will see scratches clearly. If this bothers you, perhaps it would be wise to go for the sapphire version. If not, rest assured you can have the Hesalite crystal polished (using Polywatch) or replaced during a service.

Design aesthetics of the 105.012

The details of the Swiss movements replica Omega Speedmaster Professional watches are a step forward in comparison to the previous iteration(s). These include the step dial, the shape of the chronograph seconds hand, and the Dot Over Ninety bezel. My eyes are getting a bit weaker, so the actual enjoyment of these details exists merely through a loupe or macro lens. Omega also changed the shape of the case, reverting to the case used for the fourth-generation Speedmaster Professional from the 1960s (reference 105.012). I prefer this style case and bracelet over those of the previous model, which was also partially why I couldn’t resist the urge to add this reference 310.30.42.50.01.001 to my collection.

A new Speedmaster bracelet and a clasp upgrade

Since this model’s introduction, Omega also upgraded the bracelet’s clasp with a micro-adjustment system. I don’t have it on mine, but I will order the upgrade kit at some point (reference 117Z017553). Although I never care about extendable clasps too much, I noticed that during my last summer holiday (when it was hot in France), it would have been nice to have one. Oh well. Make sure that if you buy one today, it comes with an upgraded clasp.

You can swim with it!

What Omega has fixed with the Speedmaster Professional is its water resistance. Well, it was resistant to 50 meters before and used by NASA for EVA training — which takes place in the water — but swimming with it wasn’t a risk-free experience. Especially if you didn’t check for the gaskets every year, it became hazardous to use in water.

Certified by METAS

However, as you know, the current Speedmaster Pro Moonwatch is certified by METAS. This certification is not only for its accuracy but also proves the functionality of the power reserve and that the watch is water resistant to the specified depth. Inside the METAS lab in Omega’s HQ in Biel, Switzerland, all METAS-certified Master Chronometer watches are submerged underwater. Pressure is then gradually applied to the specified water resistance. In the case of the 2023 Omega Speedmaster fake watches, that’s up to 50 meters (167 feet). It’s still not the 100 meters that many (potential) buyers long for, but at least Omega gives a warranty that these new Speedmaster are water resistant and suitable for swimming. Still, make sure to have it checked regularly. You want to be sure that all the gaskets are in good condition.

More accuracy with caliber 3861

The Speedmaster didn’t only change aesthetically. As I already briefly touched upon, it also uses Omega’s caliber 3861. This movement is an evolution of the Lemania-based caliber 1861 that Omega used from 1996 to 2021. However, some improvements have been made. The silicon balance spring and the use of non-magnetic parts make it resistant to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss. It also uses Omega’s Co-Axial escapement. The movement is certified as a chronometer by COSC before it is cased and tested again by METAS, ensuring that the accuracy is guaranteed to be between +0 and +5 seconds per day on average. Omega didn’t request a chronometer certification for the previous caliber 1861 and only “advised” on its official website that it should run between -1 and +10 seconds per day on average.

Omega’s caliber 3861 was introduced in 2019 and used in that year’s Apollo 11 50th Anniversary limited editions and the 2020 Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award. I have to say that I am not too bothered by accuracy since I rotate my 1:1 replica Omega watches relatively often, but I haven’t noticed any weird deviations when wearing the watch. Also, when I put the Speedmaster Pro with caliber 3861 on our timing machine, it showed numbers within the Master Chronometer specification.

Not perfectly aligned

Owning the new super clone Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatches didn’t make me stop wearing the Moonshine Gold Speedmaster Professional or the Speedmaster Calibre 321. Still, I did notice that I prefer wearing it over the previous modern iterations (my last one being the reference 3570.50 from 2013) of the standard Speedmaster. It’s just a very good watch from a design and technical standpoint. The only thing I miss from the previous generation is the logo and text printed in a pyramid shape on the dial, but everything else about the dial makes up for it.

However, I did notice that the chronograph seconds hand does not perfectly align. It’s not visible to the naked eye, and even in the photos that Morgan Saignes took in our office, it is not very convincing. It’s pointing slightly to the left of the 60-second marker but still inside the 12-hour marker. It doesn’t annoy me since it is only visible with a loupe, but I can imagine those with OCD (and better eyes than me) have an issue with it.

The price of the current Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch

Last but not least, Omega has gradually increased the price for this exact reference from €6,100 at the introduction to €7,500 today (and €8,600 for the sapphire reference 310.30.42.50.01.002). The price increases are now also becoming applicable in the USA and Canada, from what I’ve read, and are now similar to the prices in euros (including VAT).

Comparing the retail price of the current Speedmaster Professional to one of the previous iterations shows quite a difference (as Gerard did in his article here). Still, the watch has also become quite different and has seen an improvement in quality. What I like to do — except for complaining that everything has become so damn expensive these days, not only China AAA replica Omega watches — is see what else you can buy for this amount in the market.

Other iconic chronographs

I remember that one of my friends was once in the market for Omega Speedmaster Professional fake watches for men, and he told me that he also contemplated getting an IWC Pilot’s Chronograph not only for its looks but also for the steel IWC bracelet (at the time) that looked so good. The modern 41mm Pilot’s Chronograph version of that watch (IWC IW388113) now retails for €9,300.

Another chronograph that is considered iconic is the Breitling Navitimer. Available in many variations, the current 43mm model with B01 chronograph movement and stainless steel bracelet (reference AB0138211B1A1) retails for €9,150.

The TAG Heuer Monaco also comes to mind if you’re into iconic chronographs. The version with the crown on the left and pushers on the right, available on a leather strap, comes in at €7,900 (reference CAW211P.FC6356). It’s a bit difficult to sort out which Carrera model comes closest to the original, but the Glassbox models that debuted this year are available for under €6,500 on a leather strap.

The elephant in the room might be the steel Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, which was always more expensive than the Speedmaster Professional. Still, the Daytona needs to be mentioned regarding “iconic-ness” and storytelling. The steel Daytona ref. 126500LN retails for €15,100. But as you know, the wait for one will be long.

Some afterthoughts on the current Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch

To conclude, the Omega Speedmaster Professional replica watches wholesale has become a more expensive watch, but it also offers better specifications than previous models and underwent a design upgrade. If you don’t care about these things, searching for a pre-owned model of one of the previous references will make sense. Compared to the competition of iconic chronographs, there’s a lot to choose from, and it also shows that the price for the Speedmaster Professional isn’t entirely out of whack. Today’s retail price wouldn’t stop me from buying one if I had not already, especially given the joy I experience from wearing this watch.

The Hot White Perfect UK Omega Speedmaster Professional Fake Watches

As a collector of cheap Omega Speedmaster replica watches, I have always been attracted to the variations with a white dial. I only succeeded in adding one to my collection (finally) in the early 2000s by acquiring the Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonphase ref. 3575.20. It is the most gorgeous variation of the Moonphase models that I’ve ever seen, and I would like to highlight some other white-dial Speedy beauties today.

White-dial Speedmaster watches

The Omega Speedmaster debuted with a black dial in 1957, and it would not be until 1969 that Omega would show the watch with a “light” dial color (gold). A few Speedmaster Professionals have left the Omega headquarters with blue/gray-blue dials, which are incredibly rare. The first time Omega created a white dial for the Speedmaster was in 1970 with a model known as the Alaska Project, and the brand did so again in 1972 with the UK best fake Omega Alaska Project II watches. These two models were specifically developed and designed for use by astronauts. However, NASA never used these Alaska Project models. Alaska Project 2008

In 2008, Omega introduced a re-edition of the aforementioned watch, the Speedmaster Professional Alaska Project ref. 311.32.42.30.04.001. At first, this Alaska Project model wasn’t very popular. We must put this in perspective, though, as the demand for Speedmasters only increased rapidly a few years later. Omega produced only 1970 pieces of this model, which have since become a collectible Speedmaster variation.

The dial of this specific model was white, and the small rocket-style hands were black, whereas the chronograph’s second hand was red. This watch came equipped with a stainless steel bracelet and two additional white Velcro straps. Although I also neglected this luxury Omega copy watches at the start, it has become one of my favorite white-dial Speedmaster Professional models. The steel 42mm case is the same as the then-current reference 3570.50 and has the Lemania-based 1861 chronograph caliber inside. The dial and hands make it a Speedmaster with a very different look compared to the standard Moonwatch, though.

Silver Snoopy Award 2015

I believe that introducing this Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award model in 2015 drastically changed the game for Omega’s iconic chronograph. It sold out (or rather sold in to Omega boutiques and retailers) in a flash, and there has been an incredibly huge demand for these ever since. Omega only made 1970 of them, commemorating the year that Omega received the Silver Snoopy Award from NASA (you can read about it here). The black and white dial worked well with the famous beagle theme.

Some complained a bit about the text balloon on the dial or the printing of Snoopy in the sub-dial at 9 o’clock. Nevertheless, this model remains one of the most highly sought-after modern high quality Omega Speedmaster replica watches today. The Speedmaster Silver Snoopy Award 2015 case was slightly different from the regular Speedmaster model at the time and had a snap-on case back. Omega put it on a matching black fabric strap with white stitching.

Apollo 11 35th Anniversary, Mitsukoshi, or Tokyo 2020

“Fowl play!” you could say. In 2003, Omega introduced a limited series of 300 Speedmasters with panda dials for the Japanese Mitsukoshi luxury department store. A late friend of mine was able to secure one back then, but many of those you see around now are modified standard Speedmasters. Omega wasn’t too careful about shipping around spare parts in those days, so this model was easy to recreate. One year later, Omega used basically the same design for the 35th-anniversary edition of the Swiss movements fake Omega Speedmaster Professional Apollo 11 watches.

The difference is that it featured “July 20, 1969” printed in red on the dial and a commemorative case back showing the Apollo 11 eagle mission patch. This Speedmaster Professional ref. 3569.31 was limited to 3,500 pieces. In 2018, Omega introduced a set of 1:1 China Omega Speedmaster Professional super clone watches for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games (postponed due to COVID-19). One of the five Speedmaster models, with its panda dial, was based on the Mitsukoshi/Apollo 11 35th-anniversary model. We covered them here.

Albino

This Omega Speedmaster Professional ref. 3593.20 (or 3893.20 on a leather strap), introduced in 1997 for the Italian market, doesn’t have a stark white dial. It’s more of a cream or off-white dial, at best. This replica Omega watches for sale commemorated the 40th anniversary of the Speedmaster (1957) and was limited to 500 pieces only. It used a sapphire crystal on both sides, so you could also observe the 1863 movement inside. This caliber was a more nicely decorated version of the standard Lemania-based 1861.

It was introduced around the same time as the 3570.50, the first Speedmaster Professional to use caliber 1861 and Super-LumiNova. The Speedmaster Albino dial and hands also featured Super-LumiNova. This Swiss made fake Omega watches is extremely popular with collectors and enthusiasts, but with only 500 pieces in existence, it is not easy to find. The clean dial makes it a very wearable and likable version of the classic Speedmaster Professional.

Apollo XIII prototype

Here’s the one Speedmaster you can’t have, no matter the funds you are willing to bring to the table. It’s a prototype of a Speedmaster Apollo XIII commemorative edition, and it resides in the Omega Museum in Biel. Many years ago — I think it was even during my first visit to the museum back in 2011 — I was able to take a picture of this specific Omega replica watches for men. The white dial has an Apollo XIII mission patch at 9 o’clock and is topped with blue hands. The dial and hands have tritium lume, as all Speedmasters did at the time (1995). Since this is a put-together watch, I assume that Omega just took an older bracelet (1171 or 1450) and used the caliber 861 chronograph.

Is it time for a new white-dial Speedmaster in the collection?

Omega introduced some other white-dial Speedmaster Professional models over the years. Among them are the bicolor versions from the 1980s as well as the Broad Arrow “Professional” models with a moonphase complication. The ones listed in this article are my favorites, though.

As I’ve stated in other articles (and Mike also did here recently), I miss the days when Omega would please us Speedmaster enthusiasts with some variation on the Professional collection. I would love to see some (new) variations on the classic Speedmaster, and I wouldn’t mind adding a new white-dial version to my collection.
